Biography – June 2024

The year 2024 began with his debut in the role of Alfredo in La Traviata with the Rai Orchestra of Turin conducted, in concert, by Michal Duris. In the spring, after the Requiem K626 in Milan with the Canova Chamber Orchestra, Enrico plays the role of Ernesto in Don Pasquale in Turin. The season Asti Lirica inaugurates singing his hundredth Conte di Almaviva in Barbiere di Siviglia conductor by Maestro Sirio Scacchetti. In August he will make his debut in the role of Don Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro in Verona.

Enrico’s most recent performances include Pang in Turandot at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma with stagedirector Ai Weiwei and under the baton of Oksana Lyniv. May 2023 he sang Pong at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste. In Germany he sang Conte d’Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Stadttheater in Dessau, Giessen and Würzburg.

He specializes in Rossini, Mozart, Donizetti and Baroque repertoire. He is establishing himself in prestigious theaters all over the world: he sang Lindoro in L’Italiana in Algeri at the Teatro alla Scala, Libenskof in Il viaggio a Reims at the Real in Madrid and Conte di Almaviva in Barbiere di Siviglia at the Bunkakaikan in Tokyo. Numerous opera productions (especially by Rossini) performed at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Enrico was a guest five times at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and will soon be on tour in Oman in the farce Il Signor Bruschino.

Of note is his debut in the role of Brunoro in Gazzagina’s L’isola d’Alcina in Oldenburg and Schwetzingem. The Opera was subsequently recorded a Production CD by SONY.

Numerous times sang the role of Daniele in Betly at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo and in many cities Swiss.

On her artistic journey, Enrico has worked with renowned conductors such as Alberto Zedda, Gianandrea Noseda, Donato Renzetti, Roberto Abbado. Luca Ronconi, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Damiano Michieletto, the illustrious stage-directors.

For over twenty years Enrico has been singing recitals, operas and concerts, having the opportunity to perform in numerous Europee theaters and countries such as Argentina, Japan, Cuba, Central America, the United States, Oman, Qatar.

He trained with honors at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin. He continues to study the Rossini repertoire with the tenor Raul Gimenez. Now he perfects his vocal technique with Prof. Antonella D’Amico and studies repertoire with the maestro Giulio Laguzzi and Andrea Campora (both pianists of the Teatro Regio in Turin).
